Applying to Oxford, Funding & Mentorship
German students have always been strongly represented among Oxford’s student body. Many of those currently studying here have benefitted from advice and help offered by the previous ‘generations’ of German Oxonians.
Not least in the face of Brexit’s dramatic consequences for international students, the German Society wants to do its part in keeping this line of support as strong as possible for you as the next ‘generation’ of Germans at Oxford.
Here, you can find the whole range of ways to get information, advice and personally tailored help for your application.
Funding Guides
Due to Brexit, funding at Oxford has become more complicated for students from EU countries. This is why we have compiled funding guides for undergraduates and postgraduate students. They contain summaries of the status quo and further links for your own research. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us.
Find a Mentor
Who can help better with your application than someone who shares your background and has been through the very same process just recently? The good news is: that person is out there.
To help you find them is the mission of Project Access. This non-profit organisation finds the perfect match between applicants and current students who act as mentors during the application process. The scheme is all free and has an excellent record of helping international students through a successful application process.
As the German Society, we have partnered up with Project Access and you can directly find a mentor or check out their Access Academy, a huge resource base. Take a look below!
The Access Academy is the perfect place to start if you’re unsure whether you should apply to join our program, or find out what and where to study with our exclusive webinar series and resources
